OMDC calls for Entertainment and Creative Partnership Fund applications

The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) has launched a call for applications for The Entertainment and Creative Partnerships Fund, a program of the Ministry of Culture, co-administered by the OMDC.

The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) has launched a call for applications for The Entertainment and Creative Partnerships Fund, a program of the Ministry of Culture, co-administered by the OMDC. Funding allocated for this third round is more than $3.3 million, according to a news release.

The fund assists Ontario's Entertainment and Creative Cluster stakeholders by supporting strategic partnerships to develop fresh approaches and solutions for priorities and needs, stated a news release.

The Entertainment and Creative Cluster includes a broad range of creative content industries, including film and television productions, interactive digital media, music recordings, commercial theatres, magazine and book publishing industries, and organizations supporting the creators in each of these sectors.

The program guideline package is available on the OMDC website at www.omdc.on.ca under Programs / The Entertainment and Creative Partnerships Fund.

Two information sessions have been scheduled to provide interested applicants with the opportunity to learn more about the program. It is recommended that interested applicants attend an information session, stated the news release.

Information session one will be held on April 8, from 3:30 pm to 5 pm, and the second will be held on April 16, from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. Both sessions will take place at the Conference Centre, 175 Bloor St. E, north tower, third floor, Toronto. Registration will close at 5 pm on  April 7 for session one and 5 pm on April 15 for session two. Unregistered guests will only be accepted if space permits.
