George Van Embden, owner of Green Star Laundry at 1543 Paris St., is holding a Baby Food Drive during the month of October.

Baby food items such as formula, pablum, jarred baby food and baby bottles (new) are being collected for the Infant Food Bank at 430 Notre Dame Ave., suite 216. A receipt for cash donations will be issued.

Van Embden decided to hold the drive when one of his employees, who volunteers at the Infant Food Bank, mentioned there was a shortage of these items. More than 300 families use the service. For more information phone the Infant Food Bank at 673-5003 or Green Star Laundry at 522-3333.
