This picture was recently snapped just outside the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee’s office on Ste. Anne Road. “This big guy is a Pileated Woodpecker,” photographer Shannon Dennie wrote in an e-mail to Northern Life. “He was kind enough and patient enough to wait for staff to go back, get the camera and take his picture.
