Students from the Laurentian University and Thornloe photography class, called The Art of Seeing, held a two-day fundraiser this past weekend, donating more than $2,000 to Sudbury's Action Centre for Youth.

Participants and organizers would like to thank Henry's School of Imagine for their sponsorship.

Sudbury native Kyla Corelli, a fourth year bio-medical student at Laurentian University, is shown with her artwork entitled Steel Dunes and Firescape.

Steel Dunes (top left) was taken at Lake Laurentian Conservation area. Corelli was fascinated by the ants' tenacity at climbing the mountain of a culvert. Firescape (top right) was taken in Chinatown, New York.

"I love lines and colour, this was so vibrant," she said.
