Greater Sudbury Northern Life

Photography students at Laurentian and Thorneloe Universities will exhibit and sell their art photography Dec. 12-14 to fundraise for the Sudbury Action Centre for Youth.

The exhibition is being held Dec. 12 and 13 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Desmarais Library at Laurentian University. On Dec. 14, the exhibit moves to St. Andrew's Place on Larch Street, and will take place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The money raised will be used to buy cameras and develop photography classes for youth taught by the students and their professors.

By setting up this program, the students hope that the use of photography will encourage the youths to express themselves, learn a life skill and build self-esteem through arts.
