Photos: Sudbury has a 'super' time at the 61st annual Santa Claus Parade

Downtown Sudbury hosts its holiday tradition in partnership with military, non-profit and local business partners

Holiday spirit flowed through the snowy streets of Downtown Sudbury Saturday night, attracting crowds of hundreds to the jingling bells and flashing lights of the 61st annual Sudbury Santa Claus Parade.

Spectators lined the parade route bundled in their winter gear, with a candy cane in one hand and hot cocoa in the other. Some even thought to build a temporary fireplace at their spot on the sidewalk, to make for an extra-cozy experience.

The parade included a candy hand-out, live music, gymnastic demonstrations, marches by local military and cadet personnel, and around 60 superhero-themed floats by charitable organizations, community groups, and local businesses.
