The power of two grand pianos in concert is an impressive aural experience! The upcoming City of Lakes Music Society concert is presenting just that.
Entitled Piano Grande, this concert will feature duos, trios and piano quartets.
Included on the program are the “Sonata for Two Pianos” by Mozart, “Rondo” for two pianos by Smetana, the exciting “Sabre Dance” by Khachaturian for four players and many beautiful duet selections.
Performers on the concert include Charlene Biggs, Yoo Young Park, Damien Laframboise, Brenda Arrowsmith and many other local pianists.
This concert takes place Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Place, 111 Larch St.
General admission is $25, $20 for seniors and students, free for children under 12.
