If you're out trick-or-treating with the kids this evening in Azilda, watch out for the Pumpkin Patrol.
Greater Sudbury Police Service has teamed up with Greater Sudbury Fire Services, Emergency Medical Services, Sudbury District Conservation Officers and Rainbow District Animal Control and Shelter Services for the initiative.
The goal is to keep the streets of Azilda safe for Halloween.
Starting at 6 p.m., the Pumpkin Patrol will be out on the streets. En route, the patrol will hand out candy and stickers to trick-or-treaters. The event concludes at 8:30 p.m.
