Epilepsy Ontario's Be Heard! Youth Challenge is now running.

The challenge provides an opportunity for youth with epilepsy to voice their stories and opinions on living with the disorder.

The campaign has been running for some time, but has received little attention from the northern Ontario communities, stated a news release.

Epilepsy Ontario is canvassing communities in the North to help spread the word and raise awareness.

Applications for the campaign are available at www.epilepsyontario.org . Simply click on the large blue banner on the home page.

Winners of the challenge have the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the Epilepsy Youth Challenge conference in Toronto, from Aug. 22 to 24. The weekend will allow the winner to meet other youth with epilepsy, work on a campaign to inform others about the disorder and enjoy Toronto Buskerfest ( www.torontobuskerfest.com ), a world-class festival that celebrates epilepsy.
