Registrations are currently being accepted for Kindercentre
in Rainbow Schools, a program for pre-schoolers ages 2 to 4 and
their caregivers. Kindercentre introduces children to group
reading and hands-on activities in a stimulating learning
environment.
Children enjoy circle time, songs, games, dress up days, theme
parties, water play, sand play, science fun, climbing, arts and
crafts and so much more.
"Kindercentre is a great place for children to get
their first exposure to school," says Kindercentre Leader
Susan Gillies. "Activities enable children to develop on
intellectual, social, emotional and physical levels. They are
designed to help children
strengthen muscles and improve co-ordination." She adds:
"Playing with others teaches children important
socialization skills such as caring, sharing and
co-operation."
Kindercentre begins in October. The cost is $100 for 24
weekly sessions.
