On Saturday, June 14, the Northern Cancer Research Foundation (NCRF) and the Blue Knights Ontario X will be hosting the eighth annual Prostate Cancer Motorcycle Ride for Dad at the  Regional Cancer Program (RCP) .  This annual pledge-driven event was developed to increase awareness  and raise funds in support of prostate cancer research and patient care at the RCP.

Since its inception, the Prostate Cancer Motorcycle Ride for Dad has been spearheaded by the Blue Knights Ontario X (a riders group comprised of active and retired law enforcement officers).  This event has been well received by all members of the community, raising an amazing $202,000 to date.

This year's Motorcycle Ride for Dad will attract a host of motorcycle groups including, Canadian Cruisers, The Harley Owners Group, Freedom Riders, Sudbury Wings, Southern Cruisers, as well as individual riders.

The Northern Cancer Research Foundation and the Blue Knights Ontario X would like to invite everyone to join in the fight against prostate cancer by participating in the 2008 Prostate Cancer Motorcycle Ride for Dad or by sponsoring a rider.

Through research and education cancer can be beaten.  Let's gear up to Ride for Dad.
