Sudbury's Salute Coffee Company celebrated the first birthday of its Elm Street location May 1, and the festivities included a very special cake.
Another downtown business, Guilty Pleasures Bakeshop and Bar, created a cake in the shape of a bag of coffee beans.
“It was delicious!” said Salute owner Tania Renelli in an email to Sudbury.com. “It was lemon espresso and tasted just as good as it looked!”
