Sudbury Secondary School's drama department presents the Arthur Miller classic The Crucible June 9-11.
The 1953 play is an allegory of McCarthyism, when the U.S. government blacklisted accused communists. It is a dramatized and partially fictionalized story of the Salem witch trials that took place in the province of Massachusetts Bay during 1692 and 1693.
Showtime is 7 p.m. Tickets, which cost $10, are available at Sudbury Secondary School's main office. Please note only 50 tickets will be sold for each performance. Phone 705-674-7551 for more information.
