Science North presents the Great Northern Ontario Roadshow on Saturday, July 23 to Sunday July 24. The roadshow will feature a staycation expo, an attractions showcase and a local market.
The weekend will highlight some of the best private and public tourist attractions located throughout the North.
Local businesses will also be supporting the show with great food and drink vendors and there will also be renowned comedian and storyteller, Ron Kanutski, to host the ceremonies for the shows.
Already touring across 50 communities, the show attracts 70,000 visitors, including Francophone and Indigenous audiences and aims to stimulate the economy and support job creation by reinvigorating the Northern Ontario tourism industry.
The event will start at 10 a.m. and run until 4 p.m. on both July 23 and July 24 with opening remarks and ceremony at 11 a.m.
