The foundation and BM Metals have teamed up for a unique fundraising drive. During the month of October, this fundraising event encourages individuals and businesses to donate any scrap metals, such as old lawn mowers, barbecues, bikes, cars and aluminum. BM Metals will drop off a bin, free of charge, at businesses willing to participate and take up the challenge of donating the most scrap metal.

Individuals can drop off items at BM Metals at 1 Foundry Rd., off Lasalle Boulevard. All money raised will be used for cancer research, patient care and purchasing equipment. For more information, phone Tannys Laughren at 705-523-4673.
