Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can be a challenge. That's why the Sudbury District Health Unit (SDHU)  is promoting March as Nutrition Month, to help people eat right and stay active.

Throughout March, the SDHU has been providing a number of workshops to promote healthy eating in the community.

clip Public Health Nutritionist Bridget King says that some of the easiest ways to improve your health is to plan ahead before you go grocery shopping so that you are ensuring a variety of food in your home and choosing healthier pre-made snacks such as pre-cut fruit and vegetables available at most grocery stores.

So if you are interested in improving your nutrition or simply staying at your best, visit the SDHU for an updated food guide and other valuable information.

On March 17, the SDHU will host Lynn Roblin, author of Suppertime Survival, from 7 to 8 pm.
