The very first Northern Lights Festival Boréal was held in 1972, making it the oldest annual music festival in Canada (yes, you read that right!)
To commemorate the festival's 45th year, Sudbury.com is inviting readers to send in photos of NLFB past for a chance to win passes to this year's festival, which takes place July 8-10 at Bell Park.
Chances are your parents have photos of you rocking your 1980s hair on the old concrete amphitheatre seats or maybe you have some old slides of earlier festivals you'd like to share. Whether your photos are from 40 years ago or 5 years ago, we want to see them!
