The Fifth Annual Shorties Film Festival will take place at 7 pm on Wednesday, Apr. 30 at Lively District Secondary School in the Gym. Tickets will be sold for $3 at the door.
The Shorties Student film festival is a yearly showcase of elementary and secondary student filmmakers from around northern Ontario. Shorties offers an exciting venue for up-and-coming filmmakers and hobbyists the like. Continuing to grow, Shorties has seen its winners have move on to win in the community pulse, open category and student categories at the CTV video makers competition at Sudbury's annual Cinefest.
