SilverCity to present unique Pink Floyd event

Pink Floyd fans can take in a large-screen presentation of David Gilmour's  85-minute theatrical version of his new live concert DVD, Remember That Night - Live at the Royal Alert Hall, Saturday Sept. 15 at 3 pm at SilverCity on Barry Downe Rd.

This exclusive, one-time event will also include a live performance by David Gilmour prior to the concert  film, and end with a special question and answer session - both live via satellite from London.

The theatrical presentation, being shown at Cineplex theatres throughout the country,  features songs from Gilmour's On An Island CD, and an array of Pink Floyd fan favourites, including Echoes, performed in its entirety for the first time in 20 years.

Gilmour is joined by special guests David Crosby, Graham Nash and David Bowie, performing a unique version of the Pink Floyd classic Arnold Layne. The performance also features Richard Wright of Pink Floyd, Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music, plus Pink Floyd regulars Dick Parry, Guy Pratt, Jon Carin, and drummer Steve DiStanislao.

Remember That Night - Live At The Royal Albert Hall, will be available on DVD Sept. 18. It was filmed over three nights at the prestigious London venue last May, by renowned director David Mallet.
