Toronto-based rock/power pop quartet Sloan will be performing at the Townehouse Tavern April 3.
The band is releasing its 12th full length album. After 27 years, numerous EP's, 30 singles and 12 full albums, Sloan has long been a Canadian institution.
Sloan is four distinct songwriting voices — guitarists Patrick Pentland and Jay Ferguson, bassist Chris Murphy and drummer Andrew Scott — that nonetheless form a cohesive collective.
“The Townehouse is always proud to present Sloan, as we have been for many years,” said the Facebook page for the event.
“We live by the same code. Do what you do, do it well, always try to do it better, always show your friends a good time, always welcome new people into the circle.”
The performance gets underway at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $26.55, and are available through Event Brite.
