The Sudbury Basin Potters meet on a regular basis at the Field House at the Lamothe playground in New Sudbury.
Recently they took a few moments from creating to celebrate the
birthday of Fran Kaelas.
She is a founding members of the group and still crafts
beautiful pots with meticulous attention to detail.
The Sudbury Basin Potters are presenting their annual
fundraiser Soup's On at Vinegar on the Rocks,
595 Kathleen St.
Guests select one of many bowls made by members, sample a
choice of four gourmet soups, and the bowl is theirs to take
home.
This is a great time to do some holiday gift shopping. Pottery
will be for sale during the fundraising event.
Soup's on today (Friday) from 11 am to 8 pm and tomorrow
(Saturday) from 11 am to 6 pm.
Tickets are $20 and are available from members or downtown at
Black Cat Too.
