Miners for Cancer, a group of Sandvik and Inco employees are inviting Sudburians to the Idylwylde Golf and Country Club this weekend for a charity golf challenge.
The event is a fundraiser for local cancer research and patient care for the Northern Cancer Research Foundation. Registration starts at noon on Sunday Aug. 13. There's a shotgun start at 1 pm.
