The Sudbury Art Club presents its Fall Show and Sale this weekend.

The event takes place at the Carmichael Community Centre (1388 Bellevue) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 22 and 23.

More than 30 artists will be exhibiting.

Come and meet the artists and talk about your interest. There will be free door prizes. Admission and parking is free. This is a great opportunity to buy original art from local artists and talk to the artists in Sudbury. Artists accept credit, cheque, debit and cash payments.

The Sudbury Art Club has been in existence since 1945. It is the largest art club in Sudbury and is open to anyone who has a passion to paint and learn.

The club currently has 65 members, and the membership fee is $50 per year. Prior to COVID, the club had more than 100 members, and is hoping to return to those numbers soon.

Members have the opportunity to get together and paint on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Carmichael Community Centre.

The club also often holds workshops with professional artists.

If you’re interested in joining the club, check out its Facebook page or email [email protected].
