When school ends for the summer, kids don't have to stop learning.

Science North will offer Fun Science Days, a three-day camp, from June 28 to 30. Children aged four to 11 can register to participate in the educational workshop series.

“Because summertime is fun time, this camp ensures children will have a great time learning fun things,” Science North said in a press release.

Children aged four to five will learn to walk like dinosaurs, create macaroni skeletons and build a bird feeder.

Campers six to eight years old will “get slimed,” build an edible volcano and learn scientific magic to impress their friends.

Nine to 11 year-olds will learn about iron particles and plant poison, and will make a burping machine.

Registration for Science North members is $90, and $100 for non-members. Lunch and before-and-after care in also available.
To register, visit www.sciencenorth.ca/camps and click on “Sudbury” or call 523-4629.
