If you're looking for something to do with your babies and young children this weekend, Théâtre du Nouvel-Ontario (TNO) has the answer in its upcoming production “Streams.”

The play, which runs at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. April 21, is designed for children ages six months to four years, but will delight the entire family, a press release said.

The production is by Les Incomplètes, a theatre company that specializes in multidisciplinary creations for small children.

Without having to utter a single word, “Streams” invites the little spectator into a submarine meditative adventure. Sounds, movements and magical lighting and imagination form the play's wordless aquatic poetry.

Inspired by the songs of whales, the soundscape of the upright bass is synchronized to the constant movements of the dancer, alone on stage.

This playful performance between sound and dance will light up the imagination of children and adults alike. All will live a unique sensory experience.

Streams is an escapade into a silent submarine world. This multi-sensory experience will close the 2017-2018 season of the Théâtre du Nouvel-Ontario.

Tickets cost $18 for adults and seniors, and $5 for children and youth aged 17 and younger. Visit letno.ca.
