Celebrities from Sudbury's media outlets competed in the Downtown Sudbury Celebrity Blueberry Pie Eating Contest July 21.
Representing Northern Life/Sudbury.com was videographer Patrick Demers, who gave the other competitors a run for their money after coming in fourth place.
Believe it or not, Demers coming in fourth is the closest Northern Life has ever come to winning the blueberry pie eating contest which is in its 22nd year.
Ian Cameron from KFM managed to finish his pie first and took home the title for the second year in a row.
The blueberries in the pies were provided by Freskiw Farms and prizes were donated by Downtown Sudbury businesses.
The pie eating contest, put on by Downtown Sudbury, is one of many events as part of the 31st Sudbury Blueberry Festival running from July 17 – 24.
