Walden residents collecting for telethon

Greater Sudbury Northern Life  Residents of Walden will be out and about Thursday, Nov. 20 from 7 - 9 p.m. collecting donations for the MCTV Lions Children's Christmas Telethon and non-perishable food items for the Walden Food Bank.

Residents of Walden will be out and about Thursday, Nov. 20 from 7 - 9 p.m. collecting donations for the MCTV Lions Children's Christmas Telethon and non-perishable food items for the Walden Food Bank.

The Firemen's Choir, Walden Volunteer Firefighters, students and staff of Lively District Secondary School and Coun. Jacques Barbeau, will be out in the community collecting donations this evening.

People can also drop off donations at Hillcrest Subdivision soccer fields, Lively High or Batistelli's YIG. A group of students will also be collecting donations from 4 - 7 p.m. at the entrance to Batistelli's.
