A national documentary highlighting the fight by eight Canadians to save the environment aired on CityTV on March 30.
The documentary is called Veracity: The Fight for Tomorrow. You can watch it by clicking the play button above.
Greater Sudbury is featured in the documentary as it opens and closes with a Shoe Strike at Tom Davies Square organized by Fridays For Future Sudbury that took place on the second anniversary of Greta Thunberg's first strike in August 2019.
Included in some of the scenes are local politicians including Nickel Belt MP Marc Serré, Nickel Belt MPP France Gélinas and Sudbury MPP Jamie West.
Veracity's The Fight For Tomorrow documentary includes Sophia Mathur, founder of Fridays For Future Sudbury. It also features Dr. Melissa Lem is president-elect of the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment.
