Winner drawn in Hike for Hospice raffle

Gerry Lougheed Jr., chair, and Léo Therrien, executive director of the Sudbury Hospice, were presented with a gift certificate for $1,000 worth of merchandise from Paul McQueen of McQueen's Furniture.

Gerry Lougheed Jr., chair, and Léo Therrien, executive director of the Sudbury Hospice, were presented with a gift certificate for $1,000 worth of merchandise from Paul McQueen of McQueen's Furniture.

The donation was in support of the 2008 RBC Hike for Hospice and was raffled amongst all donations of $20. The happy winner is Stéphane Cloutier.

The RBC Hike for Hospice raised over $43,000 towards operating costs at the new residential hospice, due to open this August on the shores of Bethel Lake.
