The 14th annual Greater Sudbury Transit Food Drive collected close to 10,000 pounds of food items for local Salvation Army Family Services.

Transit employees and students from Ecole Secondaire Catholique lHéritage volunteered their time Dec. 9, to load a bus full of food for delivery to the Salvation Army food bank. Donations were collected over a three-week period on buses and during a one day food drive blitz at six local Your Independent Grocer stores.

On Dec. 4, CIGMÂ?s Scott Overton made his annual appearance to help promote the food drive, during a ride around town with a bus-driving Santa.
