If you haven't found something for the kids to do this March Break, don't worry. Sudbury.com checked and there's no shortage of activities (some are even free) to keep them busy. 

1. March Break Madness at Science North


Science North offers a full week of action–packed experiments, activities and fun for the budding scientist in your family. Suitable for children 4 to 11 years old.

2. March Break Dash at Dynamic Earth


Send the kids to a mini, three or two-day camp to explore nature (whether above or underground). Each day brings a new theme and new chance to discover the wonders of science. Suitable for children 4 to 11 years old.

3. Adventure Camp at ARC Climbing


Make the best of your week off school! Designed for kids aged 6-13, climbers will get to climb with the ARC Instructors each day, with yoga classes on Wednesday and Friday morning. Click here for more information.

4. Jiujitsu March Break Camp


Kids will learn valuable jiujitsu bully proofing skills in a super fun environment and outdoor survival skills at Sudbury BJJ & Muay Thai Academy. Click here for more information.

5. YMCA Mark Break Camps 


Exciting Olympic Games themed camp where groups will be created to represent various countries around the World. Children will participate in exciting indoor and outdoor Olympic Themed activities such as arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor games. Campers will also get to take advantage of the Y’s aquatic facilities and enjoy recreational swimming. Suitable for children 4 to 12 years old. 

6. Art Camp Extravaganza 


Art Gallery of Sudbury offers full week or day art classes for ages 4 to 14. Bring a lunch, some art ready clothes and let the creativity begin!

7. March Break Fun at New Sudbury Centre


The New Sudbury Centre has a week's worth of fun for the whole family, including a video game challenge against the Sudbury Wolves, exploration art with Sarah King Gold, a robotic demo and Paw Patrol meet and greet. For dates and times, click here

8. Maple Taffy Sleigh Rides


Enjoy a 30-minute horse drawn sleigh ride through the trails at the Wagonwheel Ranch. Warm-up by the bonfire at the Taffy Stop in the woods and treat yourself to some delicious maple snow taffy. For pricing and location, click here.

9. March Break at the Library 


Greater Sudbury Public Libraries has a variety of interactive and entertaining workshops this March Break. Learn to make a green screen, have a tea party, meet ventriloquist Mark Crocker, enjoy a movie and more. Click here for full event listings.

10. Free March Break Camp at New Sudbury Pentecostal 


Fun, games, crafts and outdoor play for children JK to Grade 6. March 12-16 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the New Sudbury Pentecostal Church. Register at www.nspc.ca.

11. "Gimme a Break" at Walden Cross Country

12. STEAM Activities

13. Kid's March Break Events at Chapters 


Each day during March Break, Chapters Sudbury will host fun days for children three years and up including, Play-Doh activities, board games, Lego, Paw Patrol and more. For more information click here

14. Oh Canada March Break Camp

15. KUPP Centre Indoor Playground & Laser Tag
