An initiative by the  Boardwalk Gaming Charities’ Sudbury Charities Foundation and ACT/UCT Sudbury has made the holidays a little brighter for 300 Sudbury families.

Continuing on their nearly two-decade-long tradition, the Boardwalk Gaming Charities, in partnership with Sudbury Charities Foundation and ACT/UCT Sudbury, donated 300 turkeys to local families ensuring turkey dinners for everyone this holiday season.

Since its inception by Ray Loiselle,  Boardwalk Gaming Charities has raised approximately $200,000 in funds through gaming at Boardwalk Gaming Sudbury that ensures the program continues each year.

“This initiative is an important one to the Boardwalk Gaming Charities,” Richard Schwar, Charity Coordinator said, “We are honoured to continue the legacy that Loiselle started more than 21 years ago.”
