There is another confirmed case of COVID-19 at St. Charles College.

According to the Sudbury Catholic School Board’s website, there are now two cases of the virus currently affecting the high school.

The latest affected individual is currently self-isolating and being monitored by Public Health Sudbury & Districts while the investigation continues, said a letter dated Feb. 25 posted to the board’s website (read the full letter here).

The Grade 12 PSK4U class has now been dismissed until March 9.

“Public Health continues to investigate the situation and if any risks to the school community are identified, they may direct additional measures,” said the letter.

“The situation will be monitored closely, and we will provide timely updates on the school and board websites.

“Public Health Sudbury & Districts is working closely with our school to manage the confirmed case. They will notify all parents of children and all school personnel who have been identified as close contacts.”
