Bankers take it to the street in support of Daffodil Month

Downtown banks compete to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society

Staff and management from TD Canada Trust, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Bank of Montreal (BMO) and Scotiabank took part in some friendly competition at the corner of Cedar and Durham Streets on April 26.

The goal of the Bankers Corner Challenge is to raise as much funds as possible in support of the Canadian Cancer Society, while increasing awareness of Daffodil Month.

The banks decorated their respective corners with yellow ribbons, balloons and daffodils.

Funds raised through Daffodil Month help cancer patients and their families by funding life-saving research and support services so that more Canadians survive and no one has to face cancer alone.
