Despite a faculty strike that started Monday, some students are still attending classes on the Cambrian College campus this week.

The Rainbow District School Board alternative education high school program Barrydowne College — which is located at Cambrian — remains open.

All staff members are expected to report to work, and students are expected to attend school, said a press release from the board.

Dual credit courses at Cambrian College are suspended for the duration of the strike.

Alternative plans are in place to ensure that learning continues for students in Dual Credit programs.

Students are asked to speak with their secondary school principal, if they have not done so already.
