To honour HIV Awareness Week, Réseau ACCESS Network has a full slate of activities promised, with the launch happening tonight, Nov. 27, a chance to watch the Big Nickel lit up in red.
“Witness the iconic Big Nickel lit up in red to symbolize our commitment to HIV awareness,” reads a release from Réseau. “This event is an opportunity for us to come together, enjoy good company, and raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in our community.”
The launch event will begin at 7 p.m. at Dynamic Earth (122 Big Nickel Road) and will feature a DJ, culinary delights and a free shuttle bus will be leaving the transit terminal at 6:30 p.m. to bring attendees to the event and back once the event is over.
