Big snowfall promised for Sudbury

Mainly cloudy skies Saturday and a high of -10.

Periods of snow throughout the day beginning in the morning, accumulating to between 10 to 15 cm of snowfall.

Wind from the east expected to reach 20 km/h gusting to 40 km/h in the morning, introducing a wind chill of -24 in the morning, warming to -17 in the afternoon.

More clouds and periods of snow overnight, amounting to an additional 5 to 10 cm of snowfall.

Wind up to 15 km/h, is expected to make the low of -13 feel more like -19 overnight.
