Cambrian College said it's still on track to release students' final grades at noon tomorrow (Saturday) after many of its online systems were taken down by a ransomware virus April 27.

The college was forced to reschedule the release of final grades due to the tech issues.

It also had to reschedule registration for the spring semester, which now opens Sunday, May 7 at 10 a.m.

Extended deadlines for the release of student grades and registration for spring semester are still in effect, the college said in an email statement Friday.

At this time, the majority of Cambrian’s systems are back online and functioning normally – although some users are experiencing intermittent issues with email, voicemail and phone systems, the college said.

At this time, there is no indication that personal information has been accessed.

The college said it will continue to provide updates on a regular basis.
