Cambrian College will be hosting a career and job fair Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the college's Barrydowne campus.
The fair “is a great opportunity for Cambrian students and alumni who are looking for full-time, part-time, contract, or summer positions to connect with prospective employers from Sudbury and across Ontario. In return, employers will benefit from having direct access to local talent skilled and job-ready employees to help fill their human resources needs,” stated a press release from the college.
Employers represented will include the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, Ontario Power Generation, Weston Foods Canada, Greater Sudbury Police Services, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Delta Muskoka Resorts, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Cementation Canada Inc., Summit Human Services, Primarica Financial Services, and many more.
A number of Cambrian’s postsecondary institution partners will also be in attendance to answer questions about their programs and to provide information about the opportunities available to students who wish to continue their studies at the university level.
This event is co-hosted by Cambrian College’s Student Employment and Co-op Services and the Wabnode Institute, both of which assist Cambrian students and alumni in achieving success in their studies and in their desired career paths.
