The City of Greater Sudbury has received some extra cash from the provincial government.
The city received approximately $517,976 for hosting Slots at Sudbury Downs. To date Sudbury has received more than $4.4 million in non-tax gaming revenue.
Slots at Sudbury Downs has been opened since 1999. Since then, it has attracted more than 1.4 million visitors, averaging approximately 1,600 patrons daily.
