The Multicultural and Folk Arts Association invites Sudbury families of every variety to Diversity Day 2022 at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre in Bell Park this afternoon.

From 1-3 p.m., parents and children can enjoy crafts and stories, swimming and fun.

On the agenda for the day, families can enjoy a rendition of the children’s book “Why Are All the Taxi Drivers…?” by author Christopher Mark D’souza, which has been turned into a stage production by YES Theatre.

The Greater Sudbury Public Library will be on hand to story-time for families and folks will have a chance to become library members by signing up for their own library card at the event.

The Art Gallery of Sudbury will also be represented in Bell Park, with staff hosting an afternoon craft session for kids along.

“Please bring your swimwear. No foods will be sold on the grounds so do ensure you bring snacks and loads of sunscreen,” the association said.
