The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is hosting Nipissing Progressive Conservative MPP Vic Fedeli during a Meet the Minister Luncheon on Monday.
Fedeli, who also serves as minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, will speak during the luncheon at the Radisson Hotel.
“Greater Sudbury’s prosperity is dependent on a strong business community,” Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce chairperson Anthony Davis said in a media release.
“Minister Fedeli is no stranger to Northern Ontario. We look forward to hearing about the Province’s plan for economic development post-pandemic. Now, more than ever, Ontario needs a vision for long-term, sustained economic growth.”
Fedeli is credited with being a lifelong entrepreneur whose firm, Fedeli Corporation, was ranked 34th in the Top 50 Best Places to Work in Canada in 1989.
He served two terms as mayor of North Bay, from 2003 to 2010, before being elected to the Ontario Legislature in 2011. Fedeli has also served 10 terms on the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce, as a director with Global Vision and on various other agencies, boards and commissions.
The luncheon will take place at the Radisson Hotel, at 85 Ste. Anne Rd. beginning with registration and networking at 11:30 a.m. and lunch served at 12 p.m.
Tickets are $60 for chamber members and $90 for general admission, with more information available online at sudburychamber.ca.
