Chamber swears in new board of directors

The Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce conducted its annual swearing-in ceremonies recently, at which time its new board of directors and chair for the 2002-03 fiscal year were inducted into office.

Taking over the reins from Jack Braithwaite as chair of the board is Mike Dupont, owner of Dupont Photography in Chelmsford and Pixatron in Sudbury. Joining Dupont on the chamber board are: Ken Bangerter (Air Canada Jazz), Jack Braithwaite (Gatien Braithwaite), Morry Brown (MORCOM Consultants), Jim Busch (Sudbury Physio Centre), Dan Draper (Networks), Paula Herold (Personal Wealth Management), Vickie Kaminski (Sudbury Regional Hospital), David Kilgour (City of Greater Sudbury), Nicole Laflamme (College Boreal), Ron LaPlante (Bell Canada), Michael Luciw (Catellan Luciw James), Scott Lund (MCTV), Scott Mantle (Alexander Centre Industries), Steve McCulloch (Cambrian Ford), Brigitte Michelle Finlay (A&J Home Hardware), Helen Mull (Greater Sudbury Development Corporation), Rene Quesnelle (Nickel Basin Federal Development Corporation), Brenda Ranger ( RDMS Disability Consultants), Rick Schweyer (Home Depot), Vicki Smith Danyliw (Copy Copy), Jim Thompson (TTC advertising), Richard Wannan (Science North), Mike Welch (Falconbridge Ltd.), and Jennifer Witty (Inco Ltd.).
