Child care centre at Levack Public School closed due to COVID case

The child care centre at Levack Public School has been closed until further notice due to a case of COVID-19 in the daycare.

The daycare at Levack school is operated by Le Centre Pivot du Triangle Magique, which also operates the school’s before and after school program.

The Rainbow District School Board shared the information about the daycare situation on its website Nov. 1

The before and after school programs are suspended until further notice.***

There has been no direction from Public Health Sudbury and Districts related to Levack school as a result of the confirmed case at the child care centre.

There are 19 active cases of COVID-19 in area schools. There is currently one active outbreak of COVID-19 at a local school, at École Sainte-Marie, where five cases have been reported.
