City honours volunteers at annual Civic Awards

Eight groups and 18 individuals receive awards for community contributions

The Greater Sudbury Civic Awards ceremony was held on April 14 inside coucil chambers at Tom Davies Square. 

A total of eight groups and 18 individuals were presented with awards to recognize their contribution to the community.

The awards promote leadership, humanitarian service, and enrichment of the human spirit through volunteerism and community involvement.

The 2016 Civic Award winners are as follows:
