Greater Sudbury mayor Brian Bigger tweeted on Jan. 9 that work is underway on the Ramsey Lake skating path and that city staff hope to have it open by this weekend.
Last week's deep freeze may have accelerated the process, but Greater Sudbury is expecting temperatures of around 6 C and rain showers this Thursday, Jan. 11.
