City ponders unpaving paradise

Greater Sudbury will host an open house Thursday to get the public's suggestions on what to do with the former St. Joseph’s Hospital parking lot.

The meeting will be held in the foyer of Tom Davies Square between 4-7 p.m. Right now, Health Sciences North uses the space for staff parking, but the city plans to redevelop the land, which is part of Bell Park. The evening session will allow residents give their opinions Bell Park use, accessibility, parking and potential park enhancements.

Residents unable to attend can provide their input and suggestions online by visiting www.greatersudbury.ca/bellpark. Feedback forms will also be available at all Citizen Service Centres. Input will be collected until Nov. 28.
