CMHA presents two housing rights seminars in Sudbury

Attention landlords and housing seekers, you're invited to a pair of housing rights seminars on June 24. The two seminars will target and address provincial housing discrimination issues through education on Ontario's Human Rights Code.

Attention landlords and housing seekers, you're invited to a pair of housing rights seminars on June 24.

The two seminars will target and address provincial housing discrimination issues through education on Ontario's Human Rights Code.

A housing rights training session will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and a housing rights workshop will take place between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Days Inn Worthington Room South at 117 Elm St.

The book launch of Making It Home, a collaboration between CMHA – Sudbury/Manitoulin, Laurentian University and The Ontario Mental Health Foundation, will take place before both sessions and free copies will be available.

The workshops are being hosted by the Centre for Equality Rights in Accommodation, in association with the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Canadian Mental Health Association – Sudbury/Manitoulin.
