Collège Notre-Dame's annual cancer drive brought more than 200 students together to raise $17,000 in support of the Northern Cancer Foundation.
As part of the drive, the students went door-to-door collecting funds to support cancer research at Health Sciences Birth Research Institute.
This was the school’s 28th year running the cancer drive.
Over the course of the years, the school has raised a total of $763,000 to support local, cancer research.
“Their excitement about fundraising locally and being proud of their own community is infectious. I don’t think it’s possible to leave that group without a smile on your face,” Tannys Laughren, executive director of the Northern Cancer Foundation, said.
