Angels of Hope Against Human Trafficking is hosting their first Community Partners Meet & Greet on August 8.

The event runs 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Northern Water Sports Centre (206 Ramsey Lake Rd.).

It’s a chance for collaborative networking to build partnerships and better support the community. Guests are encouraged to bring business cards, services pamphlets or resource information and swag for a chance to win prizes.

“At Angels of Hope Against Human Trafficking, we love nothing more than helping our clients gain access to the resources and services needed to thrive,” said executive director, Cristina Scarpellini, in a release.

“We have noticed that many Sudbury organizations seem to be working independently in silos, with little connection to other groups and services in the area, but when like-minded people join forces, we can make miracles happen.”

Angels of Hope wants the event to help attendees familiarize themselves with the various services offered in the Greater Sudbury area and to build collaborative partnerships.

If you plan to attend, you are asked to RSVP as soon as possible by visiting their event listing, found here.
